Lord of the Track-"Lightning Bolt" strikes a third time, makes history at Rio with a triple-triple

The world's fastest man, Usain Bolt, made history at the Rio Olympics by completing a triple-triple with his latest victory in the 4×100 relay race. Bolt came into the Rio Olympics with the sole objective of being the first sprinter in althletic history to win a gold medal in each of the three events of 100m, 200m and 4×100 relay race in three straight Olympic games: Beijing in 2008, London in 2012 and Rio in 2016. Having successfully completed the first two, the issue then was whether or not the vagaries of a relay race would not get into his way. But that issue has since been put to rest, as the Jamaican relay team proved once more that they still are "Lords of the Track" by successfully completing the relay race.

By this singular event, Bolt makes history as the greatest athlete in living memory to grace the tracks.
