Nigeria defeated Sweden by a lone goal in their second group match of the Rio Olympics.
The goal came in the first half of the match from Sadiq Umar who scored a wonderful header from Amuzie’s cross.
The second half saw the Siasia boys dominate their opponents and missing a number of scoring chances.
By this result, Nigeria has secured a place in the quarterfinals of the competition. However, Nigeria still has one more game in hand against Colombia which is slated for Wednesday, 10 August, to complete the group round.
